The Okada ban directive is still taking place in Lagos State as the Government has restated the consequences that await riders and passengers who fail to obey the instructions.

Regarding the Okada ban, the Lagos State Arewa Community General Assembly, LASACOMM, has asked motorcyclists to obey the directives of the state government and avoid the areas that have been restricted to bike services.
The Lagos State Police Command have already started making arrests and have so far apprehended thirty five motorcyclists for breaking the law and successfully confiscated one hundred and ninety five motorbikes.
