Nigeria’s political arena has been thrown into turmoil following reports that the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, allegedly clashed with a military officer, hurling insults and reportedly calling the officer both a “fool” and “useless.” The incident has been widely condemned as a public insult to the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Nigeria, His Excellency Bola Ahmed Tinubu, under whose authority every uniformed officer serves.
