He said that four deaths had been recorded among the nine confirmed cases with Case Fatality Rate (CFR) of 44.4 per cent; the percentage of deaths from the confirmed cases.
“Due to these reasons, the Association has deemed it fit to call on the government to get serious on finding a lasting solution to combating the disease,” NARD stated.
The governor also said that all the family members and close relatives of the patients and staff of St. Vincent Hospital be quarantined at the South-East Virology Centre, for close medical observation.
