Famous Yoruba activist, Sunday Adeyemo, also known as Sunday Igboho, has reiterated the reasons for the quit notice he issued to killer Herdsmen in the Southwest.
Igboho, who tendered an apology to the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi stated that he was angered by the alarming rate of insecurity in the Southwest region.
In a video that has gone viral, Igboho said he has spoken with the Ooni of Ife and the Olugbon, adding that what he said was a clarion call to all Yoruba Monarchs.
The activist denied collecting incentives from anyone noting that he was encouraged to lead the struggle for Yorubaland’s liberation because of the incessant Kidnapping and unemployment level among the youths.
Sunday Igboho Tenders Apology
Everyevery.ng had reported that Igboho, labelled the Ooni of Ife, former Lagos State Governor, Bola Tinubu, and the Governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde as Fulani slaves.
He also accused them of not showing enough support for liberating Yorubaland.
During a virtual town hall meeting, he pointed accusing fingers at the Ooni and others, adding that the struggle is about the southwest region’s security situation.
Also, Igboho accused the Ooni of Ife of collecting dollars from President Muhammadu Buhari.
Meanwhile, the Monarch had advised Igboho not to take the laws into his hands but to allow constituted authorities to handle the herders’ crisis in the southwest region.
