Yoruba activist, Sunday Adeyemo, also known as Sunday Igboho, has made a new demand. Igboho, who has been leading the agitation for the realization of the Yoruba Nation, made the demand in Ado-Ekiti, the Ekiti State Capital.
The activist, who went to Ado Ekiti for his Yoruba Nation Rally, demanded an immediate referendum. EveryEvery.ng gathered that many of his supporters trooped out to participate in the rally and called for the sovereignty of the Yoruba people.
Meanwhile, the Oyo State Governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde, has called for calm among the residents of Igangna in the State following a deadly attack allegedly carried out by suspected Fulani herders.
Makinde said he had received the shocking news of the attacks on residents of Igangan, Ibarapaland, in the early hours of Sunday. However, he urged the residents to remain calm, adding that security operatives are now in control of the situation.

EveryEvery.ng gathered that the suspected herders killed about ten persons, razed houses, petrol station and vehicles, after invading the community in the early hours of Sunday and unleashed terror on residents.
According to the Secretary of Farmers Union in the town, Taiwo Adeagbo, the attackers shot about five residents, while security operatives killed five assailants.
He added that a petrol station, cars and a truck loaded with cassava flour and some cars were set ablaze by the gunmen during the midnight attack.
Meanwhile, the Oyo State Police Command spokesman, Adewale Osifeso, said a combined police, hunters, and vigilantes team repelled the attackers.
