The District Head of Tambuwal, Sokoto state, Alhaji Sa’ad Mainasara Dahiru, who died of a protracted illness on Thursday in Abuja has been buried.
The monarch, aged 58 was buried in his Tambuwal ancestral home with Governor Aminu Tambuwal, top government functionaries, politicians among others in attendance.
In a statement issued by Governor Tambuwal, he prayed Allah to grant him Aljanna Firdaus and his family the fortitude to bear the loss.
Sokoto Monarch Dies
It was gathered that the Sokoto-Tambuwal road was busy in the early hours of Friday with sympathisers; relations, friends, lawmakers and politicians thronging to condole the family of the deceased Monarch.
