Yesterday, Former President Goodluck Jonathan lost two prominent police officers who were part of his convoy in a ghastly motor accident that left others severely injured.
The TwoPolice Inspectors Ibrahim Abazi and Yakubu Toma, all part of the entourage of the past Nigerian leader.
It was also gathered that Jonathan and his wife, Patience, have been to the emergency unit of the National Hospital, Abuja, the unit those affected in the crash where all victims were placed under intensive care.
However, ex-President Jonathan, according to the report, was not affected in the accident that claimed the lives of his entourages, others were badly wounded.
Some narrations by sources at the scene of the incident revealed that the convoy was involved in an accident while returning from Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, to his residence in the Federal Capital Territory, FCT.
On his part, Jonathan has expressed how saddened he has become as the incident has placed him and his wife in a state of mourning while noting that the lives lost were huge assets to his family and the country.
