Former Member of the Senate, Shehu Sani, has highly criticised the decision of All Progressives Congress, APC, to set it’s party nomination form at one hundred million naira (₦100,000,000).
Shehu Sani said on Twitter that “They have turned the Country to a Casino; the Form is now a premium political lottery ticket.”
Criticisms to Shehu Sani’s Tweet
Reacting to this comment, @WaforDavid, on the same platform, said the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, should go after any All Progressives Congress presidential aspirant that pays N100m to get nomination form, adding that they should explain where they got the money.
@Abduidriskaiama, asked the former Senator, “What is your own? Have you not procured your form from your Pdpigs party?”
Meanwhile, @GingerYu5, demanded that Sen. Sani should swear he did not support the rogue elements in power, further querying how long be was in the Senate and ‘what effort he made to balance the lopsidedness of the political equilibrium that brings this kind of obnoxious political manipulation?’
Also speaking on the side of those against the former Senator’s tweet, @OluObanla said he is someone who couldn’t disclose his salary and allowances as a senator.
On her part, @Mamatee001, asked, “Why using drugs to someone headache!! U are in PDP, you must put your mouth in APC matter, did they call you to come and buy form? You better concentrate on the form you bought in PDP so that you can fail honourably!!”
