The spokesman for the Presidential Campaign Council of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, Segun Sowunmi, while commenting on the most recent presidential address dissects the various weak points of the speech as it affects the ordinary Nigerian.
He expressed the frustration of many Nigerians in this period of lockdown as a result of the coronavirus pandemic. Speaking on the distribution of the palliatives, he said the numbers used by the government does not reflect the true number of Nigerians who need help. He went ahead to suggest that the president should consider using the registered BVN and the account balances of Nigerians with the commercial banks and improve the distribution of these relief resources.
