The face of a Nigerian artist who has been secretly making about 30 million naira from coping Nigerian sensational and Grammy Award-winning singer Wizkid‘s songs has been revealed.
After making such a huge amount from the imitations, the artist has been revealed to have given himself “Wisekid” as his stage name.
He did not stop at cloning Wizkid’s name; he also released an album named “Lasgidi Made”, an imitation of Wizkid’s “Made in Lagos.”
In the “Lasgidi Made” album, he was reported to have copied Wizkid’s songs’ names, enabling him to make money from streams on Apple Music and Amazon.
From the diggings, Wisekid has been making about N30m since October 2020 from Wizkid’s streams.
This development was earlier announced on social media by Africa Facts Zone, which attracted more eyes on him.
The elephant in the room has not responded to the unveiling of the man milking his career yet, especially as he is known for not responding to most social media issues.
