The Nigerian Federal Government has requested that all of the country’s schools to remain shut until further evaluation. On Monday 1st June the Presidential Task Force (PTF) on COVID-19 announced.
Task force chairman Boss Mustapha announced that the Ministry of Education has been instructed to work with schools to begin the process of preparing students who need exiting examinations to enable them to take the exams early in the next phase of lockdown ease
Schools To Remain Shut, Says FG
“The Federal Ministry of Education is instructed to work with schools to start the process of preparing students that require exiting exams to allow them to take exams early in the next phase of the lifting of the lockdown .”
Nevertheless, the Aviation Industry was given greenlight to begin designing protocols for domestic flights, likely to start from June 21.
However, the ban on interstate travel stands except for goods and essential travel, the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 announced.
