Popular Nigerian Gospel Singer, Sammie Okposo, has been declared dead a few moments after he collapsed at his residence.
The singer not too long ago clocked 51 and still had promising years ahead in both the music industry and life in general.
Unfortunately, Sammie Okposo also suffered an incident in the recent past that would have also claimed his life earlier than the present surprise passing.
It was gathered that in May 2022, the veteran singer survived a ghastly motor accident death as he was reportedly plying the popular third-mainland bridge in Lagos State.
His wife is Ozionma Okposo, while the recognised child is Alula Okposo, plus his siblings.
The Jesus I Thank You, crooner, received several awards during his reign as a top Gospel Artiste and was recognised across Africa and the globe.
Until the time of his death, there were barely any reports about him falling sick or having one health complication or another.
However, there is yet to be an official description of what led to the sudden slump that eventually claimed his life.
