Arise TV Presenter, Rufai Oseni, has made a case regarding President Muhammadu Buhari’s decision to accompany the All Progressives Congress, APC Presidential Candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, to ten states for the General Elections campaigns.
Rufai was questioning an APC representative on the morning show when he insisted that the President’s choice of activity at a time when another train attack and kidnappings occurred in Edo State is not appropriate.
He said with the litany of failures recorded in Nigeria’s security sector, Buhari, in such perilous times, prefers prioritising party activities to the safety of Nigerians.
Rufai made it clear that the President’s position is not wise, owing to the current economic and security challenges in the country today.
Also, he spoke about the campaign motives of the APC, stating that they fail to address issues concerning manifestos and what they have installed for Nigerian citizens.
Instead, Rufai stated that Tinubu’s APC mainly focuses on verbally attacking political opponents and waste valuable time and resources.
