As part of the investigation into the murder of Usifo Ataga, the CEO of Super TV, a fresh revelation has surfaced about Chidinma Ojukwu, the confessed killer of Ataga.
A preliminary police report showed that the prime suspect, Chidinma used the name ‘a fake name Jewel to book the short let apartment where she reportedly killed Ataga on Adebowale Oshin Street, Lekki Phase I, Lagos State.
The police report also indicated that several calls placed to a phone number with which Chidinma booked the apartment didn’t go through after Ataga’s body was discovered.
You will recall that the suspect had confessed to the crime and attributed her action to the influence of hard drugs and alcohol.
The items recovered from Chidinma included a Nigerian passport, a fake driving licence, an Access Bank statement of account slip, a UBA ATM debit card and a UNILAG identity card.
Meanwhile, EveryEvery.ng had reported that the management of the University of Lagos, UNILAG, has finally reacted to the murder of Usifo Ataga.

Reacting, the Vice-Chancellor of UNILAG, Oluwatoyin Ogundipe, said Chidinma, the prime suspect in the murder of Ataga, is a recognised student of the institution.
Ogundipe, who stated this while addressing the press, revealed that the institution’s records show that Chidinma is a university student. According to the VC, the suspect, born on December 12, 1999, is from Abia State.
Meanwhile, family sources have claimed that Chidinma disowned her family due to some misunderstanding she had with her widowed mother many years ago.
According to the family sources, her mother told some of her relatives that she had not set her eyes on Chidinma for ten years.
