Nigerian Prophet, Temitope Joshua, popularly known as TB Joshua has reacted to Federal Government’s decision to lift ban on religious activities in the country amidst Coronavirus pandemic.
In a tweet titled Statement From prophet TB Joshua on reopening of churches by the Nigerian government, the prophet reminded his followers of different three revelations concerning closure of churches.
He further tweeted that he was waiting on Holy Spirit’s instruction to decide if it is the right time to open Church adding that God’s time is the best.
The tweet reads “Viewers, don’t forget there was a revelation three times concerning the church closing.
Reopening of Churches
Viewers, that same God we are waiting to hear from on when to reopen – when things will go back to normal – as usual. God’s time is the best. We are waiting at His feet for that time. We are tarrying for the Holy Spirit’s instruction. Pray without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17).”
However, the Prophet urged his followers and church members to keep attending the church services via the Church’s Television channel.
“Meet us as usual on Emmanuel TV until we hear from God when to reopen, the same God who gave us the prophecy three times about the church closing. It is God’s work, not our work. Here, our thanks go to the authorities for understanding. Jesus is Lord.”
You will recall that the federal government had on Monday, June 1 announced the decision to lift ban on religious gatherings.
