Reno Omokri and a former lawmaker, Senator Shehu Sani have lambasted Northern governors.
They both criticised the governors over their stands on the regulation of Social media in Nigeria.
Reno also revealed why the Governors were upset with Ex-President, Goodluck Jonathan.
He noted that they were against the Ex-President because he built 165 almajiri schools.
Reno added that Social Media is opening the eyes of the almajiris.
According to him, once their eyes are open, their hold over them ends.
Also, Sani said the Northern Governors did not pay attention to their Kinsmen.
He noted that their Kinsmen were slaughtered by Bandits and insurgents.
Sani said their people were Kidnapped and impoverished by ransom.
The former Lawmaker added that their people live in fear and Funerals, yet, Social Media is their problem.
There have been several talks about the need to regulate Social media in the country.
The Nigerian Northern Governors’ Forum, have on Monday called for the censorship of the social media.
They said social media have a devastating effect on the country.
Recently, the Minister of Youths and Sports, Mr Sunday Dare revealed that the government would ensure that fake news is controlled within the legal framework.
The Minister said other countries had taken measures to exercise restraint over the cyberspace.
