Reno Omokri, the popular Nigerian social media personality, recently reacted to what Borno State Governor, Professor Babagana Zulum, did to the Presidential Candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
He outrightly refused to accept Bola Ahmed’s offer to be his vice presidential candidate or running mate, however it is referred to in the political space, so they can both clinge the slot during the 2023 general elections.
Clearly, the Borno State Governor’s reason for rejecting APC presidential candidate’s offer is due to the possible reality that he is going to lose the 2023 polls based on how things are starting to pan out.
What Reno Omokri Thinks of APC’s VP option
On Sunday, the APC ticket holder revealed that the party would be presenting to Nigerians a Muslim-Muslim ticket, which influenced his decision to select Kashim Shettima as his Vice Presidential option.
Recall that Shettima is a serving senator and a former two-term governor of Borno state, and the present BornoState Governor had been referred to as one of those prominent politicians Asiwaju was considering for the position.
Omokri thinks the APC flag bearer, is “going nowhere” in the 2023 election.
