The public altercation between Nollywood actress Mercy Aigbe and a Lagos businesswoman, Omolara Olukotun, simply known as Larrit, has seen the two parties narrate what transpired.
Mercy Aigbe, on Monday, told her part of the story, stating that she never knew how she went from being an acquaintance to becoming an enemy to the businesswoman.
The 44-year-old revealed that Larrit threw jabs at her and verbally disrespected her at a friend’s store opening event on Monday.
Omolara Olukotun has, however, told her side of the story in an Instagram post on Tuesday.
Larrit revealed that she stood against Mercy Aigbe in public because of the actress’ attitude to the first wife of her movie marketer husband, Kazim Adeoti.
She noted that her stance against the actress was because she had severally dared Adeoti’s first wife with whom he shared four kids.
She wrote, “You kept on daring the other woman on what can she do and calling yourself ‘Aya d owner’; the husband that belongs to another woman that has for kids for d same man u married is what I stand stood against.
“If that is my crime to have offended some people, I say it here publicly that I’m not sorry.”
She further stated that Mercy Aigbe is “always acting like a victim to the public and showing your devilish part behind close doors.”
“Anyone can buy your drama. That’s not my business but don’t play with me.”
