The Presidential Task Force (PTF) has issued new guidelines for the gradual easing of the COVID-19 lockdown restrictions imposed by the president.
The PTF chairman, Boss Mustapha disclosed the new guidelines in the daily COVID-19 Presidential Task Force (PTF) briefing in the Abuja.
The chairman pointed out that in this phase of easing COVID-19 lockdown,the nationwide curfew will remain in place, but the timing would be relaxed further to 10 pm through 4 am.
The banks are now allowed to open up full operations, with regular working hours restored.
Places of worship are now allowed restricted opening to only regular worship days. ie Sundays for Churches and Fridays for Mosques, which would be regulated by the state governments and religious leaders, all social distancing measures to be adhered to strictly.
Hotels may now reopen, with restaurants outside the hotels to remain closed for eat-in services, allowing for only take-outs from restaurants still.
Domestic flights are set to be resumed from 21st June, with aircraft to be properly maintained and fumigated, pilots and crew to have medicals. Conditions are also laid out for travels that can take place.
All bars, cinemas, nightclubs, gyms and parks remain closed until further evaluation and notice from the PTF. All schools also remain closed.
The PTF also pointed out that all social distancing measures are to be observed at all times and in all places.
