The Aide to President Muhammadu Buhari on Social Media, Lauretta Onochie has reacted to the comment made by Nigerian Singer, Ayodeji Balogun, also known as Wizkid about President Buhari, whom he described as an old man.
In a tweet on Tuesday, Onochie who noted that it is not disrespectful to call anyone old raised eyebrows over the way and manner Wizkid addressed the President adding that such comment leaves a sour taste in the mouth.
According to her, the Singer exhibited crass ignorance, insensitivity and childishness as she further stated that Wizkid is Dumb.
The tweet reads “It is not disrespectful to call anyone old. Its the way and manner Ayo Balogun addressed the President that leaves a sour taste in the mouth. He exhibited crass ignorance, insensitivity and childishness. But hey, he’s a #DumbkidNotWhizKid When he grows up, he might learn respect.”
Earlier, Everyevery.ng had reported that the Singer fired shots at President Buhari. He fired the shot while reacting to a tweet by the Nigerian President via his Twitter handle, wishing US President Donald Trump and his wife, Melania quick and full recovery from COVID-19.
Wizkid had in his reply to the President’s tweet challenged him to be more concerned with the happenings in the country which includes Police & F-SARS brutality rather than commenting on issues not relating to the country.
He wrote, ‘‘Donald Trump is not your business! Old man! Police/Sarz still killing Nigerian youth on a daily! Do something, Nothing concern u for America! Face your country.”
This is the second time Wizkid would be reacting to issue concerning Presidents Donald Trump and Buhari. Wizkid once compared the two heads of states saying one is better than the other because he tweets daily.
