Popular Yoruba Nollywood actress, Folake Aremu better known as Orisabunmi has died aged 60.
The demise of the Kwara born thespian comes no more than four months after her ex-husband Jimoh Aliu, better known as Aworo passed away.
Her death has been announced by colleague and President of TAMPAN, Bolaji Amusan aka Mr Latin.
Born on 10th of October 1960, the late Nollywood actress began her career after she was discovered by her ex-husband in the 80s while working as a teacher in Kwara state.
She married Chief Jimoh who discovered a trained her six years after she began her career but they were divorced many years after.
Orisabunmi is popular in Yoruba Nollywood movies for speaking incantations which she learnt while growing up as she comes from a masquerade lineage.
The Nollywood actress became popular in the 80s TV series Arelu, starring her ex-husband and others like Fadeyi Oloro.

Folake Aremu has also produced her own movies such as, “Atupa Imole”, “Ase Ilu”, and “Tani O”.
Nollywood actors and filmmakers have already begun sending tributes to the late actress across social media platforms.
