Nollywood veteran actor, Pete Edochie has reacted to his son, Yul Edochie‘s ambition to run for presidency.
The legendary actor has publicly endorsed his son, for the 2023 presidential race in a video shared on social media.

Yul, who turned 39 on Thursday, January 7, said this via a post on Twitter as he asked for grace to prepare adequately for the election.
Meanwhile, Pete Edochie who has now backed his son also gave reason for doing that.
According to the actor, his endorsement of Yul comes after ceaseless requests from young citizens pleading with him to openly support his son in his political quest.
Although he is not the one to be involved in politics, he cannot but support his son as he clearly stated that not all children will take the path of their parents.
Pete Edochie Endorses Yul
In his words, “One of my sons, who incidentally is an actor, has decided that he wants to be a politician. Most of the youngsters have been bugging my phone asking me to endorse my son that they want him as president and l get amused. But they keep insisting daddy, we want Yul to be the president of this country.
“We like him. He is disciplined, sympathetic, he believes a lot in people. They have bothered me so much that today, I’m hereby present him to you. He has my blessing. He has my endorsement”
Pete,however, promised to withdraw his son (Yul) any day he decides to veer off from the discipline under which he was raised.
Yul Edochie (39) is also a Nollywood actor. He is the last of six children of Pete Edochie.
