Nigerians in their thousands flood dead Nigerian Influencer, Austa’s page following her death. The Nigerian influencer, whose real name is Augusta Osedion, was killed by her boyfriend, Benjamin Best, also known as Killaboi.
The news has become a nationwide sensation since Killaboi confessed to accidentally stabbing his girlfriend via Instagram.
He confessed that he “mistakenly stabbed” Austa during an argument and, later, fled the scene. He revealed that he has been suicidal ever since and plans to turn himself in.
Austa’s body was found at his apartment in Lagos. The police are still investigating the murder, but no arrests have been made yet. The whereabouts of Killaboi are still unknown. He is also yet to turn himself in.
Austa was a popular social media influencer with over 100,000 followers on Instagram. However, since her passing, her followers have increased. It is unclear if the new followers believe this is a skit or they are waiting for an update on the page. Nevertheless, Augusta still manages to trend even in death.
She has even been followed by Stars like 2Baba and Rude Boy (Paul Okoye) of PSquare. Her followers seem to be increasing per te minute.
