Akeredolu, Ajayi and Samuel
A political stalwart and son of Ondo State, Hon. Samuel Ajayi, has expressed concerns about the forthcoming governorship election in the state, revealing that the incumbent State Governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, and his deputy, Hon. Agboola Ajayi are birds of the same feather.
In a recent interview, Hon. Samuel lamented the way the sunshine state has been governed by Akeredolu and Agboola in the last four years, leaving the state residents with no option than to smile while suffering.
According to him, it is obvious that the state indigenes can not wait for a new dawn for the state under a new political party and in more competent hands. He stressed that the All Progressives Congress, APC, has presented a bad candidate to the state in the forthcoming October 10 governorship election.
Hon. Samuel said, “ How will a man like Akeredolu be a governor for four years and come days to the election to apologise for the bad roads in the state? What did he used all the state resources for? He should be told that the seat of government and the lives of the people of Ondo state is not a primary school class where you can repeat after failing.”
“ You can imagine a man like Agboola who betrayed his boss and who is trying to push his boss away from his seat say he wants to be governor in our state. How can he think that we are not smart? We have learned our lessons and we will show them on Saturday.”
As it is not Eyitayo Jegede is the man for the job, he is not desperate. He has shown it before and if you are close to him you will understand. He does not need to sell the state to any godfather or steal our money.”
In his words, “Eyitayo will not run a father, Wife and son government and he deserves a chance to show the good people of Ondo state that we have been missing a lot of things in this state.
