Nollywood veteran actress, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde has trademarked her first name, Omotola.
Omosexy as she’s fondly called made this known via her official Twitter page.
Sharing a beautiful picture of herself , the screen diva captioned, “OMOTOLA” is now Trademarked.”
Trademarking her name means all her projects including movies, reality TV shows, and even photos are protected legally.

Although it is not clear how much legal work was put into Omotola’s trademark, however, in some cases, this means she has automatic rights to use the name alone, preventing others from using it.
In other news, the screen diva was called out by a blogger who claimed she was dating popular Nigerian politician, Adams Oshiomole.
Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde didn’t take it lightly with the blogger as she threatened to take serious actions.
The veteran actress also joined millions of Nigeria to congratulate recently appointed DG of Worlf Trade Organization, Dr. Mrs Ngozi Okonjo Iweala. She wrote, “We are so proud of you and what you stand for first, to the Nigerian girls/women and then Nigerians at large“
