Today, NnamdiKanu, leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, will get to know what destiny presents, following his appointment in Federal High Court, FHC, Abuja.
Initially, the pro-Biafra agitator was conveyed to the same court on October 21, 2021, where the case was adjourned due to some unforeseen circumstances that revolved around punctualities in court.
Just as the previous court attendance had a massive security presence, today’s hearing also presented a similar scenario, as the security personnel installed stringent measures to avert possible breach.
Security Officials Barricade Court Premises over Nnamdi Kanu’s Hearing
It was observed that the road heading directly towards the court premises is packed with combined armed officers of the Department of State Services, DSS, Nigeria Police, the Army, and Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC.
Also, reports revealed that vehicles were not allowed on the premises, but court staff, journalists, and other officials included on the scrutinised list were granted passage.
However, the DSS might make changes considering how the hearing progresses as all precautions by the security outfits is to ensure the court proceeding go smoothly without any interference.
