Nollywood actor, Emmanuel Ehumadu better known as Labista has got sticks from Nigerians over the burial of late Nollywood actor, Ernest Asuzu.
The ‘Labista’ film lead actor was blasted by Nigerians for disclosing intentions to raise the sum of 25 million for the burial and family welfare of the late Nollywood star.
Ernest Asuzu slumped and died around 9pm on Tuesday, 26th of January. The actor was said to have been battling with stroke since 2014. In January, 2020 a video of the actor pleading for alms went viral on social media.
Labista disclosed this in an Instagram post complained about the rumours and criticism arising due to the fundraising but affirmed that in spite of this, they are not relenting with the initial fundraising agenda.
In reactions to this, Nigerians have lambasted him for not exhibiting this type of kind gesture when Azuzu was alive.

Meanwhile, the late actor is to be buried on the 13th of April which kicks off with a wake-keep on the 12th.
