A Nigerian woman named Esther Agbaje has won Minnesota House of Representatives election in US.
The Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party, DFL, member got a landslide victory to represent District 59B in the 134- member house.
The American born Nigerian is a graduate of Political Science for George Washington University, D.C. She also owns a masters degree in Public Administration from University of Pennsylvania.
Esther who is born to a Liberian mother is also a Law graduate from Harvard University. During the campaigns, she promised affordable housing, police reform, racial equality among others.
She is presently an attorney in Minneapolis and focuses on medical malpractice and general civil litigations.
