Nigerian rapper, Olanrewaju Ogunmefun, popularly known as Vectortha viper has tongue-lashed some cultists who take pride in killing fellow cultists.
The Nigerian songwriter, who described such mentality as an act of foolishness noted that the pledged made by cultists is to fight against corrupt men who have influenced authority to their will.
In a tweet in the early hours of Thursday, June 9, Vector stated that the goal of cultism is not to attack a fellow cultist but to fight injustice in the society.
The tweet reads “If you be cultist and your orientation na to kill another man just because him be cultist then you are a fool.
You pledged your self to fighting against corrupt men who have influenced authority to their will. I repeat, if ur motive na to attack another person like you, u be fool.”
Vector Highlights Goal Of Cultism
Reacting to the tweet, some of his followers commended him for stating the good thing about cultism while some noted that it would have been better if he could use his platform to advise against cultism.
In another tweet, Vector stated that some people thought money would save them from poverty as he referred to late Chief of Staff, Abba Kyari and former Oyo state Governor, late Abiola Ajimobi, who both died as a result of Coronavirus complications.
“Na only money we all know. If that’s a lie, Look around you… most idiots think it’s money that saves them from poverty. Just look around you. The same money wey many not get reach kyari and Ajimobi. My dad fought with the #UN too. Where the fuck is your pride?
Vector, who released his first official single in 2010 has always been a critique of bad governance and has always raised eyebrows against corruption in Nigeria.
