The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC has announced that the country has five laboratories with the capability to test anyone who is suspected to have Coronavirus, COVID-19.
According to the NCDC, the laboratories are located in Lagos, Edo, Osun and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
This revelation is coming on the heels of the confirmation that the country now has eight cases.
Laboratories For COVID-19
The centre said “Nigeria has 5 labs with the capacity to test for #COVID19 located in FCT, Lagos, Edo and Osun States”
The laboratories are NCDC National Reference Laboratory, Abuja, Irrua Specialist Teaching Hospital, Edo, Lago University Teaching Hospital, Lagos, African Center of excellence for Genomics of infectious Disease, Osun and Nigeria Institute for Medical Research, Lagos.
