At the ongoing National Executive Committee, NEC Meeting, the All Progressives Congress, APC, has just declared that any member willing to contest in the forthcoming 2023 general election would purchase its presidential nomination form for one hundred million naira (₦100,000,000) only.
This amount is for both the Expression of Interest and Nomination for the 2023 presidential election, as the Expression of Interest form is fixed at the cost of N30 million only, while the latter costs N70 million only.
This information was forwarded to journalists by Felix Morgan, the APC National Publicity Secretary, on Wednesday in Abuja, while stressing that the development was part of decision ratified at the emergency National Executive Council meeting of the party, in Abuja.
Cost of APC Forms for Senate, Reps, Governorship Candidates
Meanwhile, the party’s board further placed the price of forms for Governorship, Senate and House of Representatives positions at N50 million, N20 million and N10 million, for those that have interests.
At the NEC meeting, the board also directed the party’s leadership to sell forms to the physically challenged free of charge, as they might not have the same financial capacity as their counterparts without any challenge.
According to the party, the sale of forms would commence on Saturday, 23rd April, 2023.
