Nigerian musician, Naira Marley, has canceled the #ENDSARS protest scheduled to hold today Tuesday, October 6, 2020 while giving the Nigerian police force ultimatum to see positive changes.
Naira Marley informed his fans about a planned protest which was to call for scrapping SARS an arm of the Nigerian police force accused of killing, brutalising and extorting innocent Nigerians.
In a tweet on his verified account, the controversial Nigerian musician notified that the planned protest would no longe hold after the Nigerian Police Force tweeted that the cries of Nigerians for a ban on SARS has been heard.
He had notified his followers that to get ready for the protest in the early hours of today and urging them to join the Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO for a live chat on the social media before canceling the protest.
Naira Marley, however stated that the protest will hold if no positive changes are not seen after a week.
