Popular Instagram comedian, Mr Macaroni along with Big Brother Naija’s Seyi Awolowo has paid the Yoruba traditional ruler, Ooni of Ife a courtesy visit.
The duo joined the long list of public figures and celebrities that have visited the top Nigerian monarch in his palace.
Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi since attaining the throne of his forefathers have been visited by top personalities in the Nigerian society among which is President Olusegun Obasanjo, Governor Willie Obiano, Knau Nwankwo, 2baba, Davido & Chioma, Psquare brothers, Lateef Adedimeji, Woli Arole, and several others.
Mr Macaroni & Seyi BBNaija Visits Ooni of Ife
Mr Macaroni and Seyi Awolowo have joined the list of celebrities to visit the 45-year-old monarch, Ooni of Ife in his white palace situated in Ile-Ife, the ancestral home of the Yoruba people.
Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi was in his usual lively mood as he welcomed Mr Macaroni and Seyi to his palace.
The visitors laid down flat according to the Yoruba customs and tradition as the monarch entered the Palace’s visitors room. The king, using the comedian’s signature voice said ‘‘you have to lie down flat here”
There was still time for Mr Macaroni to pull some of his intriguing actions and signature lines as he said ”Are you normal?”. This got the monarch and the watching Seyi Awolowo laughing hard.
Mr Macaroni has since said the visit to the Ooni’s palace is the priceless moment of his life.
