Mr Eazi’s father reveals reason for their lack of father/son bond.
Captain Alexander Olukayode Ajibade, Mr Eazi’s father opens up on why he did not have a proper father / son relationship with his son, Eazi (born Oluwatosin Ajibade) while he was a young child.
Captain Ajibade who is a retired squadron leader that served with the Nigerian Airforce for almost two decades said this in a Whatsapp conversation shared by Mr Eazi. This conversation was brought up after the musician mentioned to his Sierra Leonian fans that their country felt like home upon landing and he was not sure why.
Upon making findings from his dad, Mr Eazi discovered that his father was serving in the country between 1990 and 1992, just around the time Eazi was born hence the home feeling. In the whatsapp message, Eazi’s father wrote,
“I was in Sierra Leone when you were born. living in tent at Lungi Airport, 1990 to 1992.
That was why we couldn’t blend(father/son relationship) until we moved out of PH. I was always/ intruder to you”.
