Nollywood actress, Mercy Aigbe, has reacted to the claims that her new lover Adeoti Kazim (Adekaz) is in fact friend to her ex-husband Lanre Gentry.
Mercy sent a text message to a talk show on Television Continental (TVC), Your View after her newfound controversial relationship was being discussed.
Mercy Aigbe Speaks Out
The topic on the show was ‘Nollywood actress Mercy Aigbe marries ex-husband’s friend’ with show host Morayo Afolabi-Brown announcing that the actress was trying to call to the show but could not get through.
The 44-year-old mother of two then sent a message to the host which read, “I just want to clear the impression, Adekaz isn’t Lanre Gentry’s friend.”
Aigbe’s new relationship got the internet buzzing since she revealed the identity of her lover.
The actress estranged husband had shared a picture of himself, Aigbe, Adeoti, and Adeoti’s wife on his page with the caption “truth” was finally out.
The ace actress separated from Lanre Gentry in 2017 after she alleged suffering domestic violence in her marriage.
