The news about the BBNaija reality TV show stars unfollowing themselves on Instagram is everywhere, but the reason for this incident still remains unknown for so many.
They have been many insinuations about why the two former friends would suddenly become to show public display of brewing beef on social media.
Research done so far has shown that the two former BBNaija housemates have issues with themselves because of alleged not so mutual support from one side of the divide.
It would be recalled that Nengi was said to be one of the supporters of Mercy Eke the winner of the BBNaija 2019 Pepper Dem gang season, one way or the other contributing to the success she recorded as the first female winner of the show.
The table when turned to Nengi when she was in the BBNaija 2020 season 5 season did not however meet with the same measure of support from Mercy.
While the show was on, Mercy stated that she was not going to support any housemate, but was later seen crying when Erica was disqualified from the show. She was also reported to have said Erica was her favorite housemate and also regretted her disqualification.
Erica was also spotted at Mercy’s recently held birthday party, confirming the former statement credited to her. The brewing beef that has come out as rumour was however confirmed when Nengi unfollowed Mercy, after which she returned the gesture.
Meanwhile, in a recent video shared by popular vlogger, Oluwa-Tosin Silverdam, added more hints about the brewing beef.
“So what’s up between Mercy and Nengi, like there’s a beef between them, there is a bad blood between both of them.
“Because Mercy and Nengi, they unfollowed each other on Instagram, and I almost say why, what’s happening.”
It is however worthy of note that while Nengi and Mercy are struggling with their relationship, Nengi seems to be closer to Tacha who is known not to be a friend to Mercy.
Nigerians and lovers of the BBNaija reality TV show are however watching and wondering how the new alliance will end and why.
