Liverpool’s teenager Harvey Elliott has made history in the Champions League by breaking Trent Alexander-Arnold’s record.
18-year-old Elliott made his UEFA Champions League debut after being named in the starting lineup by coach Jurgen Klopp in their 2 nill away win to Inter Milan on Wednesday night.
Harvey Elliott Makes Record
The young winger has now become the youngest European Match debutant for Liverpool since Alexander-Arnold debut in 2017 against Spartak Moscow.
Trent made his European debut at 18 years and 354 days, while Elliott made his European bow at the age of 18 years 318 days.
Elliott also became the youngest English player ever to make his Champions League debut in the knockout stage.
Harvey Elliott has made seven appearances in all competition for the reds this season and will be hoping to make more appearances when Liverpool host relegation-threatened Norwich on Saturday.
