Birthday is a time for family and friends to celebrate someone who adds another year on Earth, but the case is not the same with Leah Sharibu who was one of the over 200 Chibok girls captured by Boko Haram terrorists in Borno state in 2014.
Ex-Presidential spokesman, Reno Omokri in a post on his Twitter handle promised to continue the global campaign for her release after the Coronavirus pandemic.
The tweet reads “Today is Leah Sharibu’s 17th birthday. Join me to wish her happy birthday by retweeting this and commenting. Leah, you are not forgotten. As soon as #COVID19 pandemic is over, God sparing my life, I’ll continue my global campaign for your release.”
