For many people who are itching to know the latest about the invited Chinese medical experts, Minister of Information, Alhaji Lai Mohammed has revealed that the doctors are in good condition.
The Minister said the doctors who are working at isolation centres were also helping the country to build capacity.
According to him, the doctors are doing well, and they have all tested negative for Coronavirus
He further stated that the doctors were putting together the equipment they brought to the country.
Lai Mohammed Gives Update On Chinese Medical Experts
“As to what they are doing right now, they are busy working at our isolation centres, putting together the equipment they brought.
“As we said at the beginning, none of the Chinese doctors will be treating any patient in Nigeria; they are helping our doctors in capacity building in the centres.”
Meanwhile, Mohammed has lauded journalists across the country for showing commitment to the coverage of the Coronavirus pandemic.
The Minister said the tribute to all journalists was on the occasion of the observance of World Press Freedom Day.
The Press Freedom day was set aside by the United Nations, UN, in 1993, to celebrate the fundamental principles of Press Freedom.
