The governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has just announced that the state discharged 48 coronavirus patients after they tested negative to the virus twice. The governor took to his twitter page to announce the win while urging the people of Lagos state to continue supporting the government in fighting this virus. He classified the state’s win as a win for all as well as losses.

The governor disclosed that all 48 discharged patients are Nigerians, 32 males and 16 females. They were discharged from the Infectious Disease Hospital Yaba, Lekki Isolation centre, Onikan isolation centre and LUTH.

The governor enjoined the residents of Lagos state not to relent in the fight against the coronavirus. Lagos State has a record of 406 successfully managed and discharged patients as at today.
