The Lagos State Commissioner for Tourism, Arts and Culture, Mrs Uzamat Akinbile Yusuf has assured practitioners in the creative industry of government’s continuous support.
In a tweet on her Twitter handle on Thursday, June 11, the commissioner said the support is aimed towards enhancing their skills while also boosting the tourism potentials of the State.
In the meantime, the Lagos state government has clarified its position on the reopening of event centres and the number of event attendants expected at event centres in the state.

In a tweet on its Twitter handle, It explained that owners of the event centres across the State must register their facilities pending issuance of further directives by Governor Babajide Sanwoolu.
Commissioner for Arts and Culture, Mrs Uzamat projected that a maximum capacity of one-fifth the capacity of each event centre, subject to a limit of 500 persons regardless of the size of the Centre, would be allowed when such businesses are finally allowed to reopen.
She added that the status quo of only take-away for restaurants and eateries remains, stressing that their operations must not contradict stipulated operational guidelines issued during the Statewide lockdown period.
