Kizz Daniels and his wife have faced backlash ever since the singer posted a video of himself and his wife vibing to his latest single Showa. The video sparked the nation’s outrage. Gistlover, a notorious blog known for leaking information about Nigerian celebrities, exposed new shocking details about the couple.
Daniels has always been a private person. He has managed to keep his private life away from prying eyes. However, this year, while promoting his new EP, he showed us a little about his private life by showing us his wife.
In a now-deleted tweet, he revealed on X (formerly known as Twitter), that he had been married since 2020. After that, he posted a video of his wife, congratulating her for becoming a brand influencer of a car company. Days later, videos popped up of him and his wife dancing to his song “Showa”.
The couple faced harsh backlash as many called his wife ugly. Some mocked her appearance, calling her wig cheap. Daniels had replied, agreeing with the fan that indeed they were poor and needed money; a clear case of sarcasm.
Nevertheless, the sudden display of affection towards his wife that he had kept secret for four years seemed weird.
Gisrlover soon revealed that the PDA was just a ruse to promote his new album. The blog also revealed that Daniels was a wife-beater and a toxic husband. The sudden public love affair was just overcompensation for bad behaviour.
Although there was no evidence to support these claims, many fans ran with it.
Daniels finally could not take the hateful comments anymore.
According to a fan, Daniels revealed that he had been dating his wife for over ten years.
He revealed that his wife was his biggest supporter when he first started music. He narrated how his wife had paid for his first music. He serenaded her with kind words as he reminisced on the times she would bring him food while in the studio. Many had mocked her for being loyal to a broke boy, Daniels disclosed.
He explained how his wife and her brother were the only ones to like his first post releasing his music.
Daniels maintained that due to her sacrifice, there was no amount, he wouldn’t give his queen.
