Controversial journalist, Kemi Olunloyo has slammed Big Brother Naija star, Erica Nlewedim for celebrating her Twitter verification.
The queen of the elites was recently verified on microblogging app, Twitter, thereby becoming the first female housemate of the ‘Lockdown’ season to be verified.
Following her verification on Twitter, Erica and her fans are seen rejoicing over the verification badge. As Erica trended massively on @NigeriaTwitter.
She then tweeted, “Is @verified following you?“
However, Kemi Olunloyo expressed her disappointment after realizing that Erica attaches so much importance to the Twitter badge.
She further explained to Erica that the verification is not a badge of honor. Insisting that Erica with the acclaimed Twitter verification badge still follows her that is without a verification badge on Twitter.
She ended her tweet by tagging Erica daft with the hashtag #DaftErica.
Her tweet reads, “I’m gonna rephrase that verified question. Verification is not a badge of honour. Verified is following me and I’m not verified.
“Can anyone figure out why that handle is following me? By 5pm I will dash 100k to an intelligent person. Quote your tweets #BeFocused2021 #DaftErica” she added.
