The Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje has reacted to the death of Alhaji Musa Sale-Kwankwaso, the father of former governor of the state, Rabiu Kwankwaso, who died in the early hours of Friday at the age of 93.
In a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Abba Anwar, Ganduje, who expressed sadness over the death of Sale-Kwankwaso described his death as a great loss to both his family and the state.
He also described the late Kwankwaso as a great father and an embodiment of patience, courage, humility. Ganduje said the feeling of Kwankwaso’s shocking death will remain with the people of the state forever.
Ganduje Mourns Kwankwaso
The governor added that the late Kwankwaso was a complete human being of endearing character and exemplary leadership.
According to Ganduje, the government and people of Kano State condole the former governor of the state, Sen. Rabi’u Musa-Kwankwaso.
You will recall that Kwankwaso recently revealed the reasons why Muhammad Sanusi II was dethroned by Governor Ganduje.
The former governor in a statement signed by his Principal Private Secretary, Muhammad Inuwa said Emir Sanusi’s removal by Ganduje was due to an inferiority complex.
