Today, a woman almost lost her life near Abia House, Central Business District, CBD, in the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Abuja, after being in a fatal accident, hit by a taxi along the roadside.
At the time of filing this report, it was unclear whether she attempted to cross the road or stood by the pedestrian lane when the accident occurred in the middle of the day.
Luckily, the lady was still alive after she took the hit, but her legs were in really bad condition.
Some good samaritans immediately attempted to stop moving vehicles to no avail, but after a while, persons alerted men of the Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC, that swiftly arrived on the scene to rush the affected woman to the hospital.
From the looks of things, the victim is likely to survive but would be left with heavy scars with hopes that she gets to walk again.
On the side of the road was a driver that seemed like the person who committed the life-threatening drive that almost claimed the lady’s life, as he was in the custody of some observers.
