This has been trending all day, but before I tell you why it did here is something you need to know. The correct way to address the leadership of the Nigerian senate in “The President of the Senate” and not “ Senate President.”
Now back to business, Senate President got a spot among the top Twitter trends for today after President of the Nigerian Senate, Ahmed Lawan said about 20million Nigerians may lose their jobs if the coronavirus pandemic continues.
Twitter users have however been giving him knocks over that comment. He has been asked if he was using the comment to give the government’s failure a cover-up.

#schoolreopning
Schools in South Africa have reopened and this is topping the list of engagements on Twitter for today. Despite the ravaging coronavirus pandemic, the country has taken a bold step to return some of its students to the classrooms.
Though the reopening is in phases, many people are of different opinions of the development. Pictures from the first day at school after several weeks surfaced on the social media with funny and though-provoking captions.
Students were seen with different colours, sizes and kinds of face masks while many of them slept during lectures.
Twitter users are of the opinion that it was too early for the students to return to school, while other complained of the funds required to keep their wards in school after a long compulsory and emergency holiday.
