Israel and US rescue citizens from Nigeria as grassroots outbreak looms. As Nigeria continues to fight against the spread and mortality from coronavirus, Israel and US have mobilized efforts to evacuate their citizens from Nigeria. Earlier in the news, it was reported that Airpeace evacuated over 200 Israelis from Nigeria to Tel Aviv.

Going on to this week, US has issued an order for its citizens to be taken on emergency flights from Lagos to Abuja in preparation for the evacuation. This was revealed on there official Twitter handle.
Also, Germany and France are included amongst the countries making efforts to evacuate their citizens from Nigeria.

Reacting to the moves made by these countries, Nigerians are wondering the need for such extreme measures. So far, Nigeria has only reported 135 confirmed cases with only two deaths from the virus. This cannot be compared to the high rate of death from this virus in the various countries. So, that leads to the question, is there a possibility these nations have some intelligence information that the Nigerian government is not revealing?
Part of the reasons a nation might take this kind of extreme step is if the lives of their citizens is in great danger. As it stands now, Nigeria is supposed to be safer than those countries with the low rate of the coronavirus spread. Is Nigeria headed for a grassroots outbreak and Nigerians are not aware of it?
