Amid the reactions trailing the arrest of Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People Of Biafra, IPOB, a suspect identified as one of the Commanders of the Eastern Security Network, has made a shocking confession about the killings in the South East region.
The suspect, Emeoyiri Benjamin, also known as Onye Army, reportedly confessed that members of his group engaged in killings across the region.
Onye, who was arrested by operatives of the Force Intelligence Response Team, confessed to being part of the attacks on security operatives on the alleged instruction of Nnamdi Kanu.
The Intelligence Team accused Onye of involving in the attacks, killing security operatives, and destroying government and private property in Imo State.
Meanwhile, the 28-year-old suspect also confessed that his group used the heads of ten girls caught in Imo State in preparing charms to fortify members of the group against police bullets.

The suspect said he attended the IPOB meeting until November 2020, when Nnamdi Kanu formed the ESN to provide Security in the South East region.
According to Onye, the IPOB leader, who gave the order through radio, asked ESN State Commanders to dismantle all checkpoints and kill the security agents operating the checkpoints.
The suspect confessed that his group burnt Governor Hope Uzodinma’s house and killed a security man in the home. He added that Kanu ordered the ESN operatives to attack Orlu Police Division and free the fighters arrested and detained there.
However, he expressed satisfaction over the arrest of Nnamdi Kanu; Onye also asked for amnesty from the Federal Government.
