Nigerian singer, Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu aka Burnaboy has replied activist, Omoyele Sowore after he asked him to join his ‘Revolutionary Now’ protest against President Buhari.
Sowore claimed Burnaboy is being compared with Nigerian legendary artist, Fela Anikulapo Kuti as a revolutionary artist but hasn’t led a protest. The Sahara Publisher then urged the self-acclaimed ‘African Giant’ to join him in the protest against President Buhari’s government policies on the 1st of October which is Nigeria’s independence anniversary.
Burnaboy has taken to his social media page to reply to the former Presidential aspirant. Burnaboy said he is not Fela and that he should be left alone from any political schemes. Oluwaburna as he’s fondly called stated that Fela is now celebrated by everybody now that he is dead and he politicians cannot be trusted, not even Sowore.
He wrote, ”@YeleSowore Well. I am NOT FELA. I Have said that countless times. But you sir Are a politician. Leave me out of your schemes. Thanks”
He added, ‘‘Everybody is a Fela fan and supporter now that he is dead. Humans are so Funny, You politicians are ALL the same (especially in Nigeria) and Frankly I don’t trust none of you @YeleSowore”
