The governor of Delta State, Dr Ifeanyi Okowa has announced that he and his wife have tested positive for coronavirus.
Governor Okowa made this known via his verified twitter handle, less than a week after one of his daughter’s had tested positive.
He said, “My wife and I have tested positive for COVID-19. We are well and continuing with our isolation/medication. We thank you all for your continued prayers for us and our daughter.”
On the 26th June, the governor announced that he had gotten information about his daughter testing positive for coronavirus and would be going into isolation with his wife for the next 14 days.
